Life has been so amazingly WOW! since leaving my full time job!   And it’s only been 3 days!  The world is resonating with me right now, playing in sync and tune to create a wonderful melody!

I made a pact with myself that when I left work, taking the steps to a whole new way of living, I would return to being 100% Raw. Since Sunday 2nd May both Chris and I have returned to a much more simplistic diet and boy are we detoxing!  Ewww…. :-)  But it feels so great to get rid of the yukky stuff!    It’s been 4 days and all was going well until this evening, when we had some bread as part of a salad burger and it made me realise that I need to take this to a whole new level.

So in the interests of accountability, I’m announcing that I’m going on a 100 day, 100% Raw Challenge!  Starting NOW!

My goals are:

~ Release 15kgs weight, which is quite realistic for 3 and a bit months.
~ Forgive myself for any slip ups and move forward with positive intentions.
~ Gain the habit of daily exercise, including personal training and private exercise either strenuous (jogging) or light (pilates/yoga).
~ Gain balance between my work, life, social and private spheres.
~ Live passionately in every moment!

What’s my motivation?

~ My cousin is coming home from overseas for a holiday in July and he hasn’t seen me since my wedding, when I was at my largest weight nearly 150kgs.  I want to look damn good!
~ To have the energy to do everything I need to do.
~ To be in alignment with my inner beliefs about health and vitality - as “they” say, what you feel on the inside and experience on the outside should be the same so that you have balance.

One month from today is my 30th birthday, an event I’m looking forward to with much excitement!  I know nothing really changes, but the thought of entering a new decade of my life, the next stage of my journey, and I don’t know what awaits me.  At one point this thought was terrifying, but now it’s amazing:  I think of where I am right now in this point in time and it’s exactly where I’m meant to be, and I know - intend - that the best is still to come!

My goals for the 100 Day, 100% Raw challenge reflect this:  it’s about positive development in the right direction and taking responsibility for how I want to feel and where I want to be.

So now - a call to action! Who is going to join me in this challenge?

If you have been waiting for a good excuse now’s the time, lets join forces and support each other on this journey!

Can’t wait to hear from you!  ;-)

me,me,me! I'd love to join your challenge Kate. There's nothing like a positive support system to keep us on our toes…literally. I walked around the block in the early morning sunshine today and followed up with a yummy green smoothie.Feeling good and fired up.

I'm in too. I'd been 100% raw when this popped into my InBox yesterday morning and have been 100% raw since. (Other than some condiments.) So that's 2 full days now and my best record since a 5 day juice feast in Feb or March. I discussed it at length with hubby as this will impact on him as well - our weekly cooked meal out plus the occasional unplanned meal out that we seem to indulge in also.

Looking forward to you getting the place to chat set up when you can Kate. But not until you can do it without staying up until the small hours eh? Your spare Mummy has spoken LOL

I'm only committing to 30 days at the moment, that fact has helped me say yes at all. Chances are high that I'll extend that when I get there, but we will see.

Love to you
May

Im three days into 100% raw, and I feel so proud of myself! Surprisingly it has been fairly easy. I love your magazine, thank you so much!
